The anodized aluminum surface can be wiped clean easily. Oyster Cooler recommends cleaning the cooler’s internal storage with a damp cloth after use. Then simply wait for the inner storage surfaces to air dry before closing the lid. This will ensure it is fresh, clean and ready to go when your next adventure comes around. For larger spills or food leftovers, use a paper towel to first soak up excess spills and then warm soapy water to wash and wipe off any residue.
Oyster Cooler offers free returns within 30 days of the date you received it. Please make sure you put items back in their original packaging before you send them back to them. The product must be unworn and unwashed, with hang tags attached, and accompanied by proof of purchase. All products are subject to inspection once they receive them.

It was much more difficult in practice than it was on paper to obtain the appropriate seal—not too tight, nor too soft—and to make the combined latch and hinge just the correct amount of soft.
