These entry-level courses cover a range of popular open source technologies and are designed to help those interested, gain good foundational knowledge to set them up for success in more advanced courses.
Great question, They invite you to sign up for their monthly newsletter where you can find out about all the latest news in their open source offerings as well as other cool things The Linux Foundation is doing. Plus, its the only way to find out about their secret training sales. Signing up is easy, fill out the Stay Up To Date form at the bottom of their website. If you decide itโs not for you, you can easily unsubscribe at any time.
You have 12 months from the date you purchase an E-Learning course to access and complete the course. After 12 months, your access to the course will be closed.
E-Learning courses may be accessed online via a web-browser only. No course manuals or other offline access is available for E-Learning courses.
The Linux Foundation recommend that students clear their cache on a regular basis before re-launching a course. This clears up many issues that were not exhibiting previously, and it ensures that you are seeing the most up-to-date course content and labs (e.g. in cases where course updates have been deployed). Also, while the course player does work in most browsers, there may be video-related issues with Mozilla Firefox on some Linux distros. Additionally, they recommend visiting the forum set up for your specific course at forum.linuxfoundation.org on a regular basis. Important announcements regarding the course are posted here, including announcements about course updates. It's also a great way to see what topics are currently being discussed by students and instructors for the course.
