When travelling or staying at home, SlumberPod delivers the perfect sleeping environment. With space to sit or stand up, SlumberPod is the first portable, private sleep nook that lets newborns sleep in their secure and comfortable playard, tiny crib or toddler air mattress. Many restless nights spent travelling to see relatives or staying in a hotel with their first daughter gave rise to the idea for SlumberPod , according to co-founder Katy Mallory.
Searching online for a portable, dark sleeping space for her infant, Katy brought along anything she could. In the absence of any suitable options, she (along with several others) turned to do-it-yourself methods to create a visual partition separating her from her child. Although the handmade solution was effective, it was neither secure, discreet, or simple to set up.
