They collect sales tax on merchandise and shipping and handling charges for orders delivered to addresses in a growing number of states. For orders shipped to states where they don't charge sales tax, be advised that sales or use tax may be required for direct payment to states. For more information, you may consult the delivery state's sales tax website.

Orders received by 1 p.m. Eastern Time for items that are in-stock ship out the same business day. Orders received after 1 p.m. Eastern Time will ship the next business day. When an item is not in stock, they ship it as soon as it is available. Typically, they do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

In the unlikely event that this happens, please call them at 800-447-1001 (in the US and Canada) Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Closed Sunday, or email them at sales@telescope.com. Other international customers may reach them at 1-831-763-7000. They will arrange for the return of the incorrect item (at no charge to you) and see that you get the correct item promptly.

Call them at 800-447-1001. Because they ship same-day for orders shipping to the US when they are placed by 1:00 pm ET, there's a chance your order may have already gone out. They'll do their best to intercept your order and make the requested changes. If they are unable to intercept an item that has already shipped, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

There is no cancellation fee. At the time of cancellation, they will return all payments you have made on your layaway order.
