Yes, if you have booked checked bags via the Eurowings Flight Platform, you will have to transfer your bags to the connecting flight yourself.

To do this, collect your checked bags at the luggage belt in the arrival hall, drop them off at the airline’s counter again for your connecting flight, and go through the security check.

The following benefits are included in the Eurowings Flight Platform transfer insurance:

• Refunds of costs for a new booking of a connecting flight up to a maximum of EUR 1,500 per person who has paid for a policy. Costs for no more than two overnight hotel stays up to a maximum of EUR 100 per night will be covered if the next connecting flight cannot be arranged on the same day.
• Food voucher of EUR 15 for food and drinks, if the connecting flight is on the same day

It depends on your booking whether checked bags are included. Please, therefore, check whether checked bags are included when you book. You will see the checked bag information on your booking confirmation after you have booked.
