Donations made using a credit card, or PayPal can be matched by a match offer. Gift card redemptions, donations made with account credits, and donations made during Friends & Family Pre-Funding can also be matched. Donations made using a promo code can be matched by either the promo code or the match offer - not both. Donations made by check will only be matched if the match offer is still alive when the check arrives in their office.
Once the match offer logo appears on your project, new donations made will be matched until funding from the offer is no longer available. Youโll know the multiplier for the match offer from the number in the corner.

DonorsChoose was founded in 2000 by a Bronx high school teacher which allows public school teachers around the country to request much-needed items for their students. They are a nonprofit classroom funding site for public school teachers. Educators from all around the country submit proposals for school projects, and donors can donate any amount to the project that inspires them.
DonorsChoose's mission is to make it simple for everyone to assist a teacher in need, bringing them closer to a country where all children have access to the tools and experiences they need for a great education.
