First review your tracking information above to determine if your shipment/s has been lost, stalled indefinitely, returned or is just delayed. If it seems that your item is no longer on its way to you or has been lost or stolen please contact them through their 'Contact Us' form and they will do everything they can to rectify the situation.

If you find that your order has been stuck in transit or not delivered within the estimated delivery date of your shipping method, please reach out to their customer service team with your order number and the affected tracking number by submitting a support ticket with your order number and the tracking number of the affected parcel.

They want to ensure the quickest fulfilment possible. Currently, they are unable to cancel or adjust any part of an order once it has been placed. They accept returns of all orders within 30 days of their delivery date. Please reach out to their customer service team for instructions on returning an order.

As of now, Bookshop.org does not include pre-paid shipping labels inside the box your books came in. You will need to pay for the return shipping IF you open the box of the duplicate order. They STRONGLY recommend that once the duplicate is delivered, you simply keep the box unopened, write RETURN TO SENDER on it and leave it out for USPS to pick up and relay back to them the next mail day. If your order is shipped with one of their UPS methods, you can follow the same process, except you'd have to deliver the unopened parcel to a UPS location. Please contact them once you've initiated the return to expedite the processing of your refund.

If you open the package of your duplicate order, you will have to cover the postage of the return to the above address.

From time to time a human error results in an order with the wrong books in it! If you’ve received the wrong items, please reach out to the customer service team to request either a resend or a refund of your order. Please include a picture of the incorrect items if at all possible. Their distributor may require the incorrect item to be returned, in which case they will provide a prepaid return label for them to relay. Please be patient as they correspond to report any mispacked packages.

Sometimes because of varying stock levels across our partner warehouses, orders can be split into two or more shipments. Please refer to the tracking numbers indicated in your order detail record to determine if your missing items are being shipped in a separate shipment. Backorders and pre-orders will often ship separately, and will not hold up the shipment of the rest of your order.

If you did receive an order that is missing an expected title or several, please reach out to the customer service team to request either a resend or a refund of those missing items. Be sure to include your order number and the names and/or ISBNs of the missing book or books.

If you’ve received a damaged or misprinted item you are entitled to either a replacement, refund, or store credit. Please reach out to the customer service team to discuss options and protocol. If possible, always include a photo of the damage/printing error for their records.

If you have received an order/item that you no longer want, you can return the unwanted item(s) within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund. The refund will cover the cost of the books returned plus initial shipping costs to compensate for the return shipping. Return postage is to be covered by the sender.
